Basundi / indian sweet - Maharastrian cuisine

 Ingredients 

1/4 lit Milk 

100 ml Condensed milk 

1/2 tsp cardamom powder 

10 nos Cashew nuts 

5 nos Saffron

3 nos Pista 

5 nos Almonds 

2 pinch Nutmeg powder 

2 tbsp charoli seeds (saraparuppu)

Method 

1. Heat the milk then pour the condensed milk, stir it well without burn 

2. Check and add the sugar 

3. Stir it till thick consistency without change into brown colour 

4. Add the saffron, chopped pista, almonds, charoli and cashew nuts then cook it for 5 mins 

5. Serve with nuts and garnish with edible silver paper
