Ingredients
For marination
1/2 kg chicken
2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 lemon ( juice)
2 tsp malvani masala
2 tbsp green paste
For Green Paste
1/2 cup coriander leaves
10 no garlic
5 inch ginger
3 nos greenchillies
For curry
Malvani masala
2 nos red chillies
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp peppercorns
1 tsp fennel
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp poppy seeds
3 nos cloves
1 no mace
1 no cinnamon
1 no staranise
1 no stone flower
1 tsp Nutmeg powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp asafoetida
For Curry
2 tbsp oil
2 nos bay leaf
2 nos Onion ( chopped)
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
Coconut paste
2 tbsp Oil
1 no Onion
1 cup Coconut
Method
1. Roast all above malvani masala ingredients then cool and make a powder
2. For green paste, add all the ingredients together in mixie then make it paste
3. Marinate the chicken with above ingredients the keep it aside for 20 mins
4. Heat the oil then add onion saute it till light brown colour
5. Add the coconut then make it paste
6. Heat the oil, add onion then saute it till light brown
7. Add ginger garlic paste for 2 minutes
8. Add malvani masala stir it well till 2 mins
9. Add the marinated chicken then saute it for 3 mins
10. Pour 2 cups of hot water to make a curry then allow to cook for 15 mins
11.Serve it with rice
