Attukaal soup / paya soup

Ingredients

2 teaspoons  oil 

2 legs of mutton , cut into 2-4 inch pieces

10 cloves Garlic , crushed

2 inch ginger crushed 

1 Onion , chopped

1 no tomatoes (chopped)

1 teaspoon Cumin powder

1 tsp Madras Curry powder 

1/4 cup Curry leaves

Salt , to taste

1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)

2 teaspoons Black pepper powder

Method 

1. To wash the mutton leg piece (Already roasted in open fire) in warm water,drain and set aside.

2. Heat the oil, Saute the onions and curry leaves in oil after it reach light brown colour, add ginger garlic paste then saute it for 5 mins 

3. Add tomatoes, turmeric, cumin powder, salt and curry powder  

4.Add the leg pieces then saute it well in masala 

5. Close the lid of pressure cooker then leave it for 8 whistles 

6. After removing from pressure, add pepper powder then cook it for 10 mins 

7. Serve as a soup or wtih rice or idiyappam
